It was a busy week in the Twittosphere with many great travel stories and links flying around. Here are some of the travel tweets that caught my eye this past week.
@socialtours published a great gear list for trekkers heading to Nepal including tips on what gear is best brought from home and what can easily (& cheaply!) be purchased in Kathmandu.
To travel guidebook or not to travel guidebook? @almostfearless gives her take on the age old travel question in How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Guidebook.
Heading to visit some ancient ruins soon? @travelojos recommends you read Tips for Taking High-Quality Photos of Ruins by Peter Carey. The article is, refreshingly, jargon-free and easy to follow for non-techy travelers.
Considering teaching English abroad to supplement your travel funds? @travelfish, is featuring an article, To Teach or Not to Teach, on the pros and cons of teaching English in Southeast Asia. The author, Charly Paap, gives some honest and invaluable insight based on her own experience studying and teaching in Thailand.
